Welcome
This website serves as a home for communicating various activities:
Software created for biology, geology, and teaching is held in the software section.
Course materials are held in the course-materials section.
Photographs, mostly of Nature, are in the photos section.
My blog is in the blog section.

This is one of my favorite photographs, taken during a May 2003 trip to the Grand Canyon. This is a view of Hermit Creek, with the canyon of the Colorado River lying in the distance, running right to left across the middle of this scene.

2012-01-01 This website was mostly redone during December 2011. But more clean-up is needed, a photo presentation system will have to be found, and blogging must start back up after a several year hiatus. Good resolutions! :) [It's May 2012 and still no action to fix things, but a new system is being developed later in the month, when hopefully this notice will disappear.]
